Southern Ohio Soles has found that the most effective way to distribute shoes is through student representatives. These students, typically juniors or seniors, act as the point of contact for their respective schools. Their main responsibility is to ensure that shoes are delivered from the shipping address to the school they’re assigned to. This position provides a great opportunity for students to showcase their leadership skills on college and job applications, while requiring minimal time commitment. All shoe purchases are handled by one of the co-founders, so the student representative’s only task is to deliver the shoes to the various buildings within their school district.
This streamlined process has greatly enhanced the efficiency of Southern Ohio Soles and has become an integral part of our operations. As we continue to expand into new counties, we look forward to selecting motivated juniors and seniors to serve as representatives, helping us grow and further our mission.
